A Midsummer Night's Dream

Guests were provided with an advance hint of the elegance of the theme via our Cartalia bespoke invitations. These were created in collaboration with the bride and groom, using midnight blue card and gold embossed graphics in a traditional font. The accompanying envelopes featured Megan and Scott’s very own, bespoke emblem, especially designed for the event.

Each guest attending the ceremony, held at a beautiful waterfront location down on the banks of the Ashley River, was presented with their own Order of Service, also prepared by Cartalia and which, very ingeniously, could be spread as a fan to cool themselves as they witnessed the taking of the vows. 

Megan wore A breath-taking Carol Hannah gown, from the new BOTANICA collection,  with Megan being the first bride to wear the dress since the collection’s runway show. The gown was created in soft silk organza, embellished  with gold, featuring  button back detail, charmingly accented by a fluffy peony in her curled hair. The Bridesmaids, in pleated front, midnight blue tulle, together with Scott and his groomsmen, in matching midnight blue tuxedos, dramatically framed the bride.

The climax of the evening saw the happy couple running through a tunnel of sparkles before hopping into their getaway car to begin their new life together as a married couple. A fabulous ending to an amazing day.
