Can I personalise samples ? 

Please note all of our samples come non-personalised in stock colours to showcase the quality of our work.

If you leave us a note about your wedding theme and we can send you some paper samples free of charge. 

Samples come from studio stock, so may they may differ from the listed sample.

If you receive a sample that is different from what you ordered, and you have any questions about what is included in the price, then please ask a team member or check the listings description for further details. 

We currently only supply Day Invitations, ready to ship.

When will my samples be posted? 

We aim to have your Day Stationery samples posted within 48 hours of purchase via the UK royal mail or with Airmail if you are outside the USA. However, please understand that we are closed over the weekends, and sometimes due to restocking of samples, there can be delays caused during the time we are waiting for our handmade samples to be created by a team member before they can be posted (10 working days). 

If you do choose to order another item from our store other than day stationery then these will have to be made especially for you and can delay samples dispatch date by up to 10 working days. 

If you have any quires to whether think this can affect your order then please contact us via our website or e-mail. 

Delivery is 1-3 working days with first class delivery within the UK, 3-5 working days to Europe and up to 10 working days with the Airmail to the worldwide Zone 1&2 areas.

If I place my order online will I see it before its printed ?

Once the order is placed, we always prepare digital file ( PDF ) proof within 2-3 Working days for your approval in order to make some changes before we send it to the printers. It will be emailed to the address provided upon placing an order.

Please note:  Opening hours are: Monday - Friday 10am - 5pm

Can I personalise the cards / have any text & layout ?

Yes. The wording, cover paper, insert paper, ribbon, design. Everything. We simply ask you to email us the wording exactly as you wish to have it.

How to I go about placing my order and paying?

We would prefer if you place the order through our website. You can also order through email and make the payment via Bank Transfer or Paypal.

If I paid a deposit when is full payment made?

Full payment is requested when you have approved your PDF. Please note we will only send the order to printers upon full payment.

What reference would you like me to use for the transfer?

[Name/Surname + Product Type] eg. Invite/Book/Table Plan etc.

When will I receive my first artwork PDF ( digital proof )?

We will send you via e-mail a digital colour proof of your design for your approval, once the full balance or a non-refundable deposit has been paid. Please check all the details thoroughly, particularly the spelling of names and dates. Digital proofs take 2-3 working days.

What is a hard proof ? 

Hard proof is a physical copy of your chosen design with full customisation specified during design process. It is a printed simulation of what your final design will look like.
Please note that a non-refundable fee as seen here will apply for this service. We don't offer hard proofs for non-paper items such as books, frames.

How long will the hard proof take to arrive?

Please allow up to 10 working days for the production of your hard proof + 4 days shipping depending on location and delivery service chosen.

When will my Full order be sent out?

We aim to make all orders within 10-15 working days after you have accepted the proof. We will also notify you when your order is being fulfilled, and provide you with tracking number. Please allow a longer fulfilment time scale during busy periods, such as December -  April.

I've found an invitation I like, Can this be used for day and night guests, but with the wording changed?

Yes. Most of our invitations can be used as both Day and Evening invites, with different wording in one and the other. Some designs have their own Evening design, in which case you can order either one. Please note we do have to have an order min of 30 units and in some cases 50 units.

Do I have to assemble the cards myself ?

No. The cards come assembled as seen in pictures so you can enjoy them straight away.

How do I personalise invites?

Let us know how you would like the invites to be personalised. The best way would be to e-mail the details to info@cartalia.co.uk or fill in the order form upon checkout.

Unless otherwise stated, we will use the default font/wording colour/spacing etc. as in the product picture.

Do you print in another language?

We can print in any language you would like. We have done orders in Arabic, Chinese, Taiwanese, Norwegian, Swedish, French, Italian, German, Polish, Spanish, Russian and others.

What colour options are available for the invites?

The colour options depend on the invite. Please send us an email to check stock availability : info@cartalia.co.uk. We can print the wording in any colour.

If I place the order online for the main invite, will I be contacted in regards to different font types? 

If there is no special request from the customer’s side for a different font, we will use the default font type for the order. We won’t send emails asking for additional details unless absolutely necessary. This allows for you to focus more on planning your wedding and a shorter, more secure production for us.

We are interested in purchasing a product. I wanted to ask whether it is possible to customise and personalise the wording inside?

Yes. All our products can be customised and personalised inside and out.

Do these invites come with envelopes?

Yes. All personalised orders come with envelopes unless otherwise stated.

Are the envelopes additional price?

Plain white/cream envelopes (depends on what best fits the design) come with the order free. Envelopes in few other colours are available for some designs, however, those will be charged for at £0.65 per envelope. Additional liner for the envelope is £0.50 each.

Can the pre-printed guest addresses be printed on the RSVP envelopes as well as the invite envelope?

Yes. They can be printed on both the RSVP and invite envelope at an additional cost.

Can I print text or images inside the Guest Book?

Unfortunately we don't provide printing inside the The Guest Book / Album, however the design of the cover can be customised to your specification.

Does the Guest Book / Photo Album have divider pages?

Unfortunately the pages are not divided. The paper within is of very high weight and can have photos easily attached. The paper is plain ( un lined ) 170 gsm Black or Cream.

Can I change the binding of the book ?

Yes absolutely. You can change the type of binding to best suit the purpose of the book. We offer bolted or spiral binding. Such amendment is included in price.

Can I add more pages to the guest book ?

Yes. The maximum number of pages per book is 150 ( 75 sheets ). An additional charge of 5 pounds will apply for this service. We recommend spiral binding for items with a large number of pages.

Do you have any other colour options for engraved text?

No. As the text is engraved, its colour is defined by the type of wood chosen.

Can you confirm the postage service that you use please? I just need to know If these will need signing for?

Samples are sent out via Royal Mail 1st Class Large Letter. No signage needed.
Personalised Orders are dispatched by Royal Mail and Hermes depending on delivery service chosen for your parcel. It will need signing for.
Rush orders are shipped via overnight UPS 24h delivery. It will need signing for.

Any additional shipping charges should be sent to us through our standard options: Our Website or Paypal. Our cost does not cover import taxes.

Do you know approximately what the print timescale and delivery will be?
